Why settle for a rebroadcasted system, which can only offer TV pictures that are just ok? With the rebroadcasters you have to pay a monthly subscription for what is actually FREE TO AIR (FTA). They will tell you that the subscription is for the rental of the equipment, but how can that be? Because as soon as you stop paying  it, they will scramble your signal.

 

A very important point to remember, none of the rebroadcasters have permission from any of the major television companies ie BBC, ITV C4 etc to rebroadcast their programmes and if it were possible to get the licence, it would have already have been obtained and the rebroadasters would be showing the licence´s off to everyone including in the press. No doubt if it were possible, SKY would be here already.

 

So lets say, 250€ installation plus 20€ a month subscription for three years, that´s a total of  960€ plus another 120€ per year for having tv in an extra room and counting, plus you still have to continue to pay to watch forever, and you only get the selection of channels they want you to have, leaving you with no control and out of pocket.

 

Basically what they do is collect the signal and then re transmit it which means that the picture you see can never be as good as it is intended to be. When you purchase a new TV there is a good chance that the TV will at least be HD ready, which will show up re broard even more so.

 

As for HD, (high definition) the only way you will get HD is by going direct to the satellite as the rebroadcasters will never be able to offer it.

 

So just think, you spend say 700€ -1000€ or more on a new HD or Full HD flat screen TV for the lounge and then feed it with a rebroadcasted signal with pictures that can never look as good as they did in the showroom.

 

So Whats The Answer?
